Banquets Supervisor in California
Wage: $14.00 per hour
Skills:
Candidates must have:
•Excellent written and verbal English
•Strong leadership qualities
•Knowledge of wines, liqueurs, and food menus
•Experience in wine service
•Physical fitness and a valid Driver’s License
Duties:
This position will include three areas of training: Back-of-House including purchasing, stewarding and banquet set-up;
Front-of-House including all areas of service; and Supervisory training assistance with payroll, scheduling, and staff coordination.
Housing:
The participant is responsible for securing their own accommodation, however Intrax and the host company will advise on housing options. Accommodation of 1-2 weeks will be provided by the resort upon arrival.
It is recommended that the participant buy either a car or a bicycle after they arrive.
